Monday Night Skate Ski Lessons

Join the Instructors from the Ski Club and Down Wind Sports for free ski lessons (for club members) Monday nights January and February.  7 pm at Forestville trailhead.  Reserve free rental equipment for lessons at Down Wind Sports. 906-226-7112.

Wednesday Night Relays 2008 New

WOW... the end of yet another hair raising, thrill-seeking year, of out-of-bounds nordic night-time, high banked oval relay racing.  It seems like just the other day we were "waxing em up" and yet here we stand getting ready to put storage wax on.  We want to extend a "Thank You" to HETRICK and Assoc.  for sponsoring the Wednesday Night Relay Series.  Thanks also goes out to the NTN for all their great grooming efforts and the warming shelter.  In having a colder than usual winter, it was real nice to have a warm place to change and to tell ol war stories.  A special thank you also goes out to both Dennis Whitley and Jeff Stasser.  It didn't matter how cold it was they both were out there for registration and set-up.  A new added bonus this season was the peanut/taco bar to assist with the cooling down after a hard effort at the relays.  Most of all Thank you to all the racers that came out week after week to have fun after the sun went down.
