Ski Cats $45.00

Ages: 5—10 Ability: Beginner to intermediate

When: Sundays (2:30—4 pm), January 10,17,24 February 7,14,21; March 7,14

Where: Noquemanon Forestville Trailhead Participants receive instruction in classical technique (some freestyle offered). Instruction in fundamental skills and maneuvers through ski games and activities with peers.

Adventure Club $45.00

Ability: Beginning to Advanced Recreational

When: Sundays (2:30 – 4 pm) January 10,17,21 February 7,14,21; March 7,14

Where: Multiple trail venues Learn to ski, hang out with friends on snow, get more fit, explore adventure skiing.

Prep Team $100.00

Ages: 11-18

Ability: Beginner to Advanced Competitive

When: Dec. 8-March7, 2 days/week coached sessions plus optional weekend session

Where: Multiple venues Improve technique, develop endurance, fitness, and skills, learn to compete, and attend races.   

Kick off meeting:  Saturday, Dec. 5 (place to be announced)

Nordic Ski Racing Teams

Ages: 13-18 (J3—OJ USSA levels)

Ability: Competitive

When: Nov. 1—Feb. 20 (High School Team) $150

    Through mid-March (Full Season Add On)$150

Where: Fit Strip and Multiple Trail Venues Events: Michigan High School Championships; Jr. Marathon events, Junior Olympic qualifiers and Junior Nationals.

Geared towards racing and high school athletic competition. The team will meet 3 to 6 days per week for training for and racing at competitions throughout the Midwest

 

Youth Committee

The youth committee meets regularly to support and sustain the Youth Programs.  Everyone is welcome to attend and help with planning.  Tom Wagner is the Youth Committee Chair and can be reached at wagnert60@gmail.com.
